Summit Cycling Center (SCC) is a non-profit, volunteer driven, bicycle co-operative located in downtown Akron, Ohio. Our mission is to promote the use of bicycles and other human powered vehicles as transportation alternatives.

We are an urban cyclist’s co-operative that provides affordably priced cycle goods and services. SCC recycles used bicycles and refurbishes them to support the center and provide an opportunity for members to learn bicycle mechanics. SCC is developing programs that teach safe cycling and bicycle maintenance and repair. SCC also looks to develop microenterprise opportunities for employment within the co-op and in the community.

We’re building our site right now. Check back often for updates. Or come by the shop to meet us.
